If you scan the images in Special Collections yourself:
*First 10 scans are free, every scan thereafter is $2 per scan
*CDs can be sold for $2
If a representative of Special Collections emails or mails you scans of images:
*$15 per scan
NO use fees will be assessed for the following:
*Education use (student papers, theses, or dissertations)
*Official use by the university
*Scholarly use (publications for scholarly journals, etc.)
*Non-profit organizations (museums, government agencies, etc.)
*Nevada newspapers, magazines, films, or videos (Ex. Nevada Senior Magazine)
*Family or genealogical research
$25 use fees will be assessed for the following:
*Home decoration/personal use
*Office decoration/personal use
$100 use fees will be assessed for the following:
*Commercial display or exhibit
*Commercial publication (non-scholarly publications or books for mass audiences)
*Advertisements
*Other commercial ephemera (menus, brochures, posters, etc.)
*Newspapers, magazines, films, or videos
*$5 per package mailed
