Computers & Software

• The ASL now has both color and black & white printers that print 11” x 17” paper (in addition to 8.5” x 11”).

• Adobe Creative Suite 3, the AutoDesk 2008 Suite, and SketchUp 6 Pro and ArchiCAD11 are installed on all computers in the ASL. These programs are available for student use only.

• Five 11x17 scanners are available on first floor as well as in the ASL computer lab
  
  
• A "NO LOGIN to scan/print" station has been established at an ASL first floor workstation

• We have two portable LCD projector carts; each is complete with a laptop, LCD projector, DVD/VHS player, and speakers. They can be used in our group study rooms (113 & 114) on a first-come, first-served basis.

• Projection screens have been added to rooms 113 & 114.

• A headset with a built-in microphone is available for checkout at the ASL Service Desk.

• Power outlets were placed within a reasonable range of computers in the lab to provide access for powering external hard drives.
• A light box was purchased to assist with tracing and viewing of slides."

• Videos and DVDs can be checked out for three days.
  
  
• We now allow videos and DVDs to be renewed once online – for an additional three days.
  

• Popular and new DVDs are on display, as well as a comprehensive listing of the entire collection.
  
  
• The Kaplan AEC Architecture ARE Learning System was purchased for those studying to take their ARE.
  
  
• Two new periodicals, Mark and Plan were added to the collection.
