f. NAAB accreditation awarded for six years; mid term report in 2008 and next visit in 2011.
g. Sketch Club outings – by Jim Chaddick; On alternating Saturdays and Sundays, 3 times a month or so to show willing students the approaches and techniques of sketching in the field. We will meet at the strip casinos and malls, etc in the valley. There is no charge for this, it is most informal. I have done this in the past for my students and it has been very effective in bringing up the drawing skill level for everyone who has participated. I have left a sign-up sheet with Sylvia for anyone who wants to participate. I will compile an email list and schedule in about a week or so. I highly recommend this for 1st & 2nd year students who are queasy and/or skittish about drawing & sketching, as well as anyone who wants to increase their proficiency.
