SCHOOL OF ARCHITECTURE CHARETTE
The UNLV Department of Landscape Architecture and Planning is hosting an intensive design exercise (charrette)
with CalPoly Pomona later this month.
- Eighty students plus 5 faculty from California will work with UNLV students to develop a scenario for Las Vegas in a "post-peak" oil future.
- The participants will do a transect of Las Vegas to come up with sustainable solutions for future development in the valley.
- The final jury is open to interested members of the public on Friday, Jan. 30, at 1:00pm in the library at the Paul Sogg Architecture Building at UNLV.
- The jury will run from 1:00-4:00 pm, but people may step in or out at any point during the process.
