the Dept. of Landscape Architecture and Regional
Planning at the University of Pennsylvania Graduate
School of Design, and coauthor with Alex MacLean
of Taking measures across the American landscape.
He speaks on renovating landscapes including
working with the surface of the land, the processes
of the landscape, the thickness of the surface,
and the performances of surfaces. He also speaks
about projects he has worked on such as the Los

a post-industrial riverside in Philadelphia,
