The CML has over 10 discrete collections, and call numbers vary among them. Collections shelved alphabetically by author's last name include Picture Books, Big Books, Early Readers, Bilingual, Braille, and Juvenile Fiction. The Library of Congress call number classification is used for the Professional Materials Collection, Nonfiction, and Kits. Textbooks are shelved using the LT textbook classification system. Call number examples are given for each classification.
