The New York Times Index is the only newspaper index at Lied Library that goes back to 1851. This index can be used to cross reference dates and articles that may have appeared in other newspapers. For example: If you found an article in the New York Times on July 7, 1921, then look at that date or the week of that date (July 7 - 14, 1921) in other regional newspapers for similar articles.
