The University Libraries has obtained access to Amnesty International Archives: A Global Movement for Human Rights, the archival records of the International Secretariat of Amnesty International dating from 1961-1991.
In this database, you can explore the rise of the global human rights movement during the second half of the 20th century through the of Amnesty International. The collection includes organizational records, external releases, and posters of Amnesty International, and more than 50 hours of oral history content.
The collection is useful for studying the history of key political events, global social change, human rights violations and campaigns with themes including abolition of torture, state violence, political prisoners, minority rights, and more.
