Visiting Researchers
Who is eligible: Visiting researchers who are doing research with current UNLV full-time faculty
Registration Requirements: A copy of a letter from the Department Chair noting their affiliation and its duration; must show government issued identification and provide a current valid credit card
UNLV Borrowing Privileges:
- Allowed to recall and place holds on checked-out items
- Unlimited number of books
- Semester checkout
- 2 renewals
- Privileges expire on last date of formal affiliation
- Extended use fees
Borrowing from other libraries:
Course Reserves:
- Access to print reserves
- Access to electronic reserves
Computer Privileges:
- In-house access to University Libraries' licensed electronic resources
- Remote access to University Libraries' licensed electronic resources
- In-house and remote access to the Library Catalog and Library web site
- Internet access
- UNLV Wireless access
- Laptop Checkout
- Use of scanners
- Use of productivity software (i.e. Microsoft)
- Use of Multimedia Design Studio
- Need-based use of microform readers
Printing and photocopying:
- Photocopies: $.15/page (for color and black and white)
- Printing
- Color: $.40/page
- Black & White: $.03/page
Media Materials:
Other:
- Books delivered to/from the College of Southern Nevada or Nevada State College
