Conservation of this 1964 Bible was conducted as a community outreach project, on behalf of Shawna and Delores McNair for Bishop C.A. Timmons of the "Joy of Life Christian Center". Despite it's relative young age, this Bible shows considerable wear and tear. Conservation work included page repair, the resewing of signatures, and the replacement of endleaves. In addition, a clamshell box was created for presentation and for further preservation.
